Removing an account ( Android )

IMPORTANT NOTE

Before removing an account from any mail client it is important to verify the accounts incoming mail protocol,

removal of a pop3 account without the creation of a back up may result in Irreversible loss of email content or local folders

To modify the current server settings of you email on an android device,

Open Settings
select "Accounts and backup"
Select "Manage Accounts"

From the list of accounts select the email that you wish to Remove

Click on "Remove account" and confirm the removal

Adding / re-adding an account

With the account now fully removed you are free to add another account or re-add the removed email user
